This is what Sarah's hands do all by themselves. She does not purposefully clasp her hands. Her hands are in this position 50% of the time. Sometimes when she wants to do something with her hands, I have to pry them apart for her. The left hand hangs onto the right hand for dear life and she cannot part them.
The day she was born, I looked over at her in her little clear hospital baby bassinette and she was lying on her side with her hands in this exact same pose. I thought she looked like she was praying. I had never seen an infant do that with their hands. Little did I know.
