John took me to a Red Sox game last night for his Mother's Day gift. There really are no words. It was just awesome. The best.

Happy Mother's Day

Today was really nice. Sarah slept until 11:30 this morning! What a treat for me :) I received beautiful flowers, a phone call from Jimmy, tickets to a Red Sox game(WOOHOO!!!!) and heartfelt cards. Oh, and my nephew cut my lawn today! John is taking me to the Red Sox game in a couple of weeks. He even has already arranged the babysitting for Sarah. I am just so excited.

Oh and last night was prom night in our town. I just wanted to share a photo of one of my nephews with his date. Very sweet.

John is coming home from college tomorrow. Whoohoo! Whoohoo! So preparations must take place!! Things need to get ship-shape! We are on our toes! Here are a few samples. Above is the requisite Cheese Danish. Below are his sandy summer flipflops.



Next come the clean, fluffy sheets.




Followed by his prescription refills.




Next comes the car key as I have put him back on my insurance.




And the never-ending soda cans.



And here are the 'white breaded' essentials. He is not able eat whole grains like the rest of us.



And all the crunchy snacks that will disappear in 3 days.




And finally, the cat. She belongs to him heart and soul. She will live with him when he gets his first place. I am not sad about that. Sorry. (She's cute but sometimes she drives me insane which is a whole other post)




Anyway, he is being delivered to my front door with all his college stuff for the summer tomorrow morning! It will be a glorious day.
